What to expect
A fun environment on the weekends (and sometimes during the week), lots of noise, and a short walk to class, bars, and fraternities. Also a short trip to Downtown Charlottesville and its attractions.
A community of almost exclusively UVA students from all schools within the University who like to work hard and play hard. Predominantly second-year student population, though many third- and fourth-years live here too.
The Corner is home to some of UVA's most expensive off-campus rental properties. The closer you are to University Ave, which houses the strip of bars and restaurants which constitute "The Corner" itself, the more you should expect to pay. Near University, you'll also find some of the newest and most luxurious developments that exist off-campus.
