This restaurant offers a healthy alternative for students. Upon arriving, you build your own bowl consisting of a base, a protei,n and a vegetable. The meals offered at Vale are healthy but can be pricey for the average college student. Vale also offers meal plans, one is a “maintain” plan and the other is a “weight loss” plan. The meal plans cater to the student who doesn’t want to grocery shop and/ or have the time to cook his/her own food. Meal plans from Vale range in price due to the high level of customizability. For example, you can pay for 1 to 3 meals per day and pay on a weekly or monthly basis.

This American bar is well known for its drinks and monthly drink challenge for a free shirt upon completion. Nonetheless, the menu consists of great bar food including burgers, dips, and wraps. If you are 21+, Madison Social is a great place to hang out with friends and grab a drink. Each month they offer a new challenge with 6 more unique drinks in-return for a MadSo shirt. Apart from that, Madison Social offers a great, affordable brunch every weekend. Our Tallahassee Team highly recommends checking out MadSo, as they have definitely become a staple in Tallahassee.

Gaines Street Pies is an ideal pizza shop for students due to its unique menu, affordable prices, and late hours. Located just a block or two away from the Stadium Centre, this pizza shop is perfect for students in the area. If you are tired of Jimmy John’s and want a quick bite, Gaines Street Pies is a great alternative and they stay open till 3 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. Inside the restaurant, there is also a full bar offering great drink specials throughout the week.
